The Happiest 5km On The Planet...

When I first heard of the Color Run I didn't know anything about it - except that you start off white, and end up looking like a bag of 100's & 1000's - which to me, looked like the most amazing fun ever!

I was new to the whole Fun Run thing, and blow me down if this one didn't actually look like fun.  So I decided that come hell or high water, I was going to do a Color Run, no matter where I had to go to achieve that goal.

#100HappyDays - Day 36 was interesting...

The purpose of this challenge was made evident today, when the morning got off to a shaky start, and after my nail appointment, went downhill on rollerskates.

I'm so glad that this challenge came up in my Facebook newsfeed all those weeks ago.

I really think that it's changing how I approach my day, I'm finding I'm a little bit excited to find my 'happy' for the day, and look forward to finding it.

Apart from the fact that I have a really crappy memory and forget to post my pic sometimes, I'm enjoying noticing all the things, big and small, that are giving me joy.

During the drive home, after taking MIL home, my friend Lyndal,  yes I do have more than the one I pay... Hi BFF!!  hereafter to be known as LJ, called to see if I wanted to go on a road trip with her the next day to surprise another friend, Amy, whom I shall call AM.
